Leo Express is set to launch a new 800-mile railway line on June 25, connecting major cities across the Czech Republic, Germany, and Poland, with a reach extending to the Ukrainian border. The journey will take approximately 18 hours, with the route starting in Przemyśl, Poland, and concluding at Frankfurt Airport in Germany. Key cities along this route include Kraków, Ostrava, Prague, Dresden, Leipzig, and Frankfurt am Main. Leo Express CEO, Peter Köhler, emphasized that this service will help eliminate the 'iron curtains' between Western and Eastern Europe, enhancing connectivity and access to Ukraine. The west-bound train departs Przemyśl at 1:31 PM local time, arriving in Frankfurt Airport the following day at 7:53 AM. The east-bound service leaves Frankfurt at 8:27 AM and reaches Przemyśl at 2:23 AM the next day. The route also offers amenities such as wifi, power sockets, air conditioning, and catering, making it a comfortable travel option for passengers. Przemyśl has become a significant railway hub for those traveling from Ukraine since the onset of the conflict in February 2022.
