Prime Minister Narendra Modi's upcoming visit to Varanasi from April 28 to 29 will focus on significant development initiatives. On April 28, he will interact with around 50,000 women at a conference before inaugurating and laying foundation stones for various projects totaling over ₹6,350 crore (approximately $765 million USD). This includes 48 projects worth ₹1,052.89 crore and 112 projects worth ₹5,216.17 crore. Notable projects include a 15-km rail-cum-road bridge over the Ganga, a 500-bed multi-super specialty hospital, and smart classrooms in 23 schools. Additionally, PM Modi will flag off two new Amrit Bharat Express trains to improve travel options between Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, and Maharashtra.
