During a conference in Amaravati, Andhra Pradesh, Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu accused the previous YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) government of diverting ₹10,000 crore from 94 Central schemes. He stated that the current NDA government inherited a staggering ₹10 lakh crore in debts from the YSRCP regime. Naidu claimed that the previous administration was responsible for significant fund leakage in welfare schemes, which has been addressed through the implementation of the direct benefit transfer (DBT) method, ensuring that funds reach beneficiaries directly. He criticized the YSRCP for leaving the state's infrastructure in poor condition, particularly citing potholed roads. Naidu expressed optimism about the future, referencing a recent business reformer award he received, which he believes will positively influence investment in the state. He acknowledged the collective effort of his administration in achieving this recognition and reiterated the government's commitment to prioritizing the satisfaction of the people.
