The Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad (UPMSP) is set to announce the results for the High School (Class 10) and Intermediate (Class 12) examinations on April 23, 2026, at 4 PM. This announcement will conclude the anxious wait for more than five million students who participated in the exams. This year, 27,61,696 students registered for the High School examination, with approximately 26 lakh appearing, while 25,76,082 registered for the Intermediate exam, with about 24.5 lakh taking part. A total of nearly 2.87 lakh candidates were absent during the exams. The results will be available on the official UP Board website and the DigiLocker portal, ensuring easy access for students. The board has implemented a rigorous verification process to maintain the integrity of the results, marking only the second time in 12 years that results are declared this early. The exams were conducted between February 18 and March 12 across 8,033 centres in a peaceful environment. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath emphasized a transparent and efficient education system, setting a new standard for timely result declarations. Students who are unhappy with their results will have options for scrutiny and compartment examinations.
