In Banda district, Uttar Pradesh, a 35-year-old man named Pappu alias Radhacharan has been arrested for allegedly killing his 75-year-old mother, Ramrati, during a domestic dispute on June 8. The incident occurred in Gureh village when Pappu returned home intoxicated around 9 PM and began arguing with his younger sister, Gudiya. When Ramrati attempted to intervene and calm the situation, Pappu reportedly threw her to the ground and struck her multiple times on the head with a brick. The injuries were fatal, and she died at the scene. Following the incident, police were alerted, and a murder case was registered based on a complaint from the victim's husband, Manuwa. Pappu was apprehended shortly after the incident and is set to appear before a competent court for further proceedings. The police have sent Ramrati's body for a post-mortem examination to ascertain the exact cause of death, as investigations continue into this tragic domestic violence case.
