TCS CEO Salary: K Krithivasan Receives Rs 28.1 Crore in FY26, Up 6% From Previous Year

K Krithivasan, CEO and MD of India’s largest IT services firm Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), earned a total compensation of Rs 28.1 crore in the financial year ended March 2026, marking a 5.95 per cent increase from Rs 26.52 crore in the previous year, as per the company’s latest annual report. The remuneration included a base salary of Rs 1.67 crore, along with Rs 1.43 crore in benefits, perquisites, and allowances. The largest component of his pay came from Rs 25 crore in commission. The pay ratio of the CEO to the median TCS employee remuneration stood at 332.8, according to the annual report. The median employee remuneration rose by 5.1 per cent in FY26. TCS had a total workforce of 5,84,519 employees as of March 2026. “The average annual increase for junior and mid-level employees was in the range of 4.5-7.0 per cent, with top performers receiving double-digit increment in India. However, during the course of the year, the total increase is in the range of 5.0-8.0 per cent, after accounting for promotions and other event-based compensation revisions,” the company disclosed in the annual report. Junior and mid-level employees outside India received a wage increase varying from 1.5-6.0 per cent. “The increase in remuneration is in line with the market trends in the respective countries. In order to ensure that remuneration reflects the Company’s performance, the variable pay is also linked to organisation performance and individual utilisation in addition to individual performance.”
