Network18 Media & Investments Ltd, a subsidiary of Reliance Industries Ltd led by billionaire Mukesh Ambani, reported a consolidated net loss of ₹29.61 crore for the quarter ending March 31, 2026, compared to a loss of ₹29.09 crore in the same quarter last year. Despite the loss, the company's consolidated revenue from operations increased by 9.7% to ₹615.78 crore, up from ₹561.32 crore in the previous year. This growth was attributed to a diversified portfolio and strong market positions, even as the overall advertising demand for the TV news industry declined by 10% year-on-year. Network18's advertising inventory, however, grew by 4.5%, helping the company outperform its competitors. The company's EBITDA stood at ₹30 crore with a margin of 4.9%, while total expenses rose to ₹670.89 crore, marking a 6.47% increase. For the entire fiscal year 2026, Network18's profit reached ₹155.20 crore, with a total consolidated income of ₹2,148.46 crore. Chairman Adil Zainulbhai expressed satisfaction with the company's performance, highlighting its leadership in delivering news amid a challenging geopolitical landscape.
