He was present to support the mayoral candidacy of Akshita Saini and other municipal candidates. Saini launched a strong critique of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), accusing its leaders of making false promises and failing to provide necessary support to farmers in Punjab, including price compensation and minimum support price purchases for crops. He claimed that instead of creating jobs, the AAP government has led the youth into drug addiction. Saini also pointed out that both the Congress and AAP had made promises to provide financial support to women during elections, which remain unfulfilled. Additionally, he condemned Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann for his comments regarding a recent blast incident, asserting that Mann is trying to improve his political image through misleading statements.
