Reports suggest that the Congress leadership is leaning towards a change, with indications that Siddaramaiah may resign to facilitate Shivakumar's ascent. Congress General Secretary KC Venugopal confirmed that the meeting primarily focused on the upcoming Rajya Sabha and Council elections, while also addressing the leadership speculation.
