ABBA Voyage has introduced a new education program at the ABBA Arena in east London, aimed at inspiring young people to pursue careers in music and the creative industries. The announcement was marked by a rare public appearance from ABBA members Benny Andersson and Anni-Frid Lyngstad, who joined nearly 3,000 children for a special Q&A session hosted by broadcaster Vernon Kay. This initiative builds on previous community projects that have engaged over 8,500 young individuals through concerts, workshops, and employment opportunities. The program particularly focuses on supporting youth from underrepresented communities in the neighboring boroughs of Newham, Hackney, Tower Hamlets, and Waltham Forest. ABBA expressed their hope that the program will stimulate curiosity and creativity among young people. Craig Hartenstine, CEO of ABBA Voyage, highlighted the commitment to creating meaningful opportunities for local communities, while Shazia Hussain, CEO of the London Legacy Development Corporation, emphasized the importance of connecting young people with innovative live entertainment experiences.
