This decrease occurred despite a 17.1% increase in revenue from operations, which reached ₹262.85 crore during the same period. The company's total expenses rose significantly, climbing 26.7% year-on-year to ₹163.95 crore, which contributed to the decline in profitability. Additionally, CDSL's pre-tax profit for Q4 FY26 was ₹103.22 crore, down 18.9% from ₹127.20 crore in Q4 FY25. For the entire fiscal year 2026, CDSL reported a net profit of ₹455.08 crore, reflecting a 13.5% decrease compared to the previous year, while total income increased by 5.8% to ₹1,144.92 crore. Following the earnings report, CDSL's stock price fell 2.50%, closing at ₹1,273.80 on the National Stock Exchange (NSE).
