In contrast, Ashish Dua, a senior leader from the Indian National Congress, criticized the government's handling of civic infrastructure in Gurugram, pointing out issues like poor air quality and traffic management. Dua urged Saini to focus on current challenges rather than past criticisms, emphasizing the need for a new development roadmap for Gurugram. Saini expressed confidence that voters are increasingly rejecting opposition narratives in favor of development-oriented governance and described the Nari Shakti Vandan Adhiniyam as a landmark decision for enhancing women's participation in governance.
