A 22-year-old man tragically died by suicide in his home in Jal Vihar Welfare Society, Faridabad, Haryana, India, after reportedly losing ₹25,000 due to online gaming addiction. The victim, a third-year Bachelor of Science student at a private university, used his uncle's licensed revolver in the incident. According to police reports, the suicide occurred between 11am and 11:15am on Wednesday. His family discovered him after hearing a gunshot. A suicide note was found in the bathroom, where he expressed regret over befriending the wrong people and urged his family to repay loans ranging from ₹3,000 to ₹5,000 taken from various individuals. The revolver, belonging to his uncle, an ex-serviceman, has been seized for investigation. Authorities have stated that no foul play is suspected in this tragic case.
