The journey to becoming an Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer is often fueled by personal motivations and aspirations. Abhishek Chauhan from Bihar left his job at a multinational corporation to pursue civil services, believing in the importance of public service for vulnerable communities. Ram Bhajan Kumar, hailing from Rajasthan, faced significant financial challenges after the death of his father during the COVID-19 pandemic. Despite these hurdles, he secured a constable job and later aimed for the IAS, achieving an All India Rank (AIR) of 662 in 2022.
