Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha praised the award-winning institutions, which include the Sepahijala Zilla Parishad as the Best District Panchayat, Kanchanbari Gram Panchayat as the Best Health-Friendly Panchayat, and Baikunthapur Gram Panchayat as the Third Best Women-Friendly Panchayat. These accolades underscore the state's efforts in promoting transparency, improving healthcare services, and empowering women within the community. Saha noted that these awards validate the effectiveness of Tripura's development policies and the active involvement of citizens in governance. The recognition aims to inspire other Panchayats to strive towards the vision of 'Ek Tripura, Shrestha Tripura, Viksit Tripura', reinforcing the government's dedication to sustainable development and rural transformation.
