Rijul Singh Malik, now a Digital Transformation Consultant at Google Hyderabad, faced a challenging journey marked by repeated failures and rejections. Originally from Rohtak, Haryana, he failed the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) twice, which he initially viewed as a significant setback. However, he later realized that these failures helped him develop resilience, an essential trait for success. After completing his B.Tech in Information Technology and a master's in Data Science from the University of California, Irvine, he faced additional hurdles, including academic probation and struggles to secure internships. Despite applying for hundreds of roles and receiving over 520 rejections, Rijul's persistence paid off when he finally received an offer from Google. He credits his fiancée, Khushi, and his family for their unwavering support throughout his journey. Rijul's story serves as an inspiration, emphasizing that resilience and timing are often more critical than talent alone.
