The companies, which operated under the Tripsmiths name for marketing, specialized in crafting unique travel experiences, including safaris in South Africa and scenic train journeys through Northern Italy. Despite the administration, the joint administrators confirmed that the business and assets have been sold, ensuring that existing customer bookings will be honored. Customers can continue to look forward to their planned holidays as all future trips are set to proceed as normal. The spokesperson for the administrators stated that customer funds are securely held in a trust account, backed by the Travel Trust Association, providing reassurance to travelers. Employees of the companies will also be transferred to the new purchaser under TUPE regulations, allowing for continuity in service.
