The Madhya Pradesh government is collaborating with Google Cloud India to enhance the management of the Simhastha Kumbh festival, scheduled for 2028 in Ujjain. Chief Minister Mohan Yadav met with Google officials to discuss the integration of artificial intelligence in event management. A significant aspect of this partnership is the establishment of a Centre for Excellence in Indore, aimed at fostering AI-based innovation and training over 10,000 AI developers. This center will serve as a hub for research and technology solutions, with Google contributing to the financial aspects of the project alongside the state government. The collaboration also includes the development of a mobile application designed to provide real-time information to pilgrims, including crowd management, traffic predictions, and emergency services in local languages. This initiative is expected to greatly enhance the safety and convenience of millions attending the festival. Additionally, discussions have begun on creating AI solutions to address the increasing human-wildlife conflict in the region, demonstrating a comprehensive approach to utilizing technology for various state priorities, including agriculture, education, and health.
