Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma announced that the Assam Higher Secondary (HS) Class 12 results will be released on April 28, 2026. More than 3.3 lakh students took the exams, which were conducted from February 13 to March 17. This announcement follows the dismissal of a false notice claiming results would be available on April 24. The Assam State School Education Board has been moving the result dates earlier to better accommodate undergraduate admissions across India. Last year, the overall pass percentage was over 88%, with Science stream students achieving the highest success rates. Students can download their scorecards from the official websites, asseb.in and ahsec.assam.gov.in, or through the DigiLocker platform, which allows secure document storage.
