The 2026 Gold Gala was held on May 9 at The Music Center in downtown Los Angeles, marking its fifth edition. This year's event celebrated the Gold House’s 2026 Gold100 List, honoring the 100 most impactful Asian Pacific leaders of the past year. Among the stars in attendance were Priyanka Chopra Jonas, Bowen Yang, Hayley Kiyoko, Simu Liu, and Jet Li. Notable awards included the Global Vanguard honor for Priyanka Chopra Jonas and the Gold Artistic Achievement honor for Charles Melton. Eileen Gu received the Gold Impact award, while Simu Liu was recognized with the Gold Mogul award. The gala featured a performance by Hayley Kiyoko, who sang “Girls Like Girls,” and included an exclusive first look at the upcoming film Forgotten Island by H.E.R. and Liza Soberano. Following the gala, the Billboard x Gold House Founders Party showcased performances by stars from RuPaul’s Drag Race and included a celebrity karaoke room. Attendees shared their favorite cultural foods, highlighting the diversity of Asian Pacific cuisine.
