HDFC Bank, India's largest private sector lender, reported a 9.11% increase in standalone net profit to ₹19,221.05 crore for the fourth quarter of FY26, compared to ₹17,616.14 crore in the same quarter last year. Total income saw a slight rise to ₹89,808.90 crore, up from ₹89,487.99 crore in Q4 FY25. Profit before tax also grew by 7.92% to ₹25,193.35 crore. The bank's net interest income increased by 3.2% to ₹33,080 crore. HDFC Bank's gross non-performing assets (NPAs) improved to 1.15% of gross advances, down from 1.33% a year ago. The bank's board has recommended a final dividend of ₹13 per share, which is subject to shareholder approval at the upcoming annual general meeting on 19 June 2026. On a full-year basis, the bank's standalone net profit surged 10.87% to ₹74,671.29 crore.
