Additionally, four individuals were taken into custody for violating DUI probation. This targeted enforcement operation ran from May 22 to May 25, coinciding with a period identified as particularly dangerous due to increased traffic as families and individuals traveled for holiday activities. Police officials highlighted the risks posed by impaired drivers, calling on the community to prioritize safety by arranging sober rides and utilizing rideshare or public transportation options. Residents were also encouraged to report any suspected drunk drivers by dialing 911.
