Despite a 10-day ceasefire that began on April 16, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) have intensified military operations in southern Lebanon, as indicated by a newly released map of the Forward Defence Line. This operational zone, stretching from the Mediterranean coast to Mount Hermon, is currently occupied by five IDF divisions targeting Hezbollah infrastructure to mitigate threats to northern Israel. The IDF's military update reveals that operations are ongoing, with air and ground attacks conducted against individuals approaching the Yellow Line, which the IDF considers a violation of the ceasefire. In the final 24 hours before the ceasefire, over 150 Hezbollah terrorists were reportedly eliminated, including a sector commander, and more than 300 military infrastructure sites were struck.
