Nestlé India reported its strongest quarterly sales growth in nearly a decade, with a 26% increase in standalone net profit to ₹1,114 crore for the March quarter compared to the previous year. Revenue from operations climbed 22.6% to ₹6,747.7 crore. The growth was driven by double-digit volume gains across all product categories, including confectionery, beverages, and prepared dishes like Maggi noodles. Chairman Manish Tiwary emphasized the company's focus on consumer-centric strategies and expanding market penetration, particularly in rural areas, which now reach about 216,000 villages. Despite positive results, analysts from Sunrise Gilts & Securities noted that El Niño-related weather volatility could impact future demand, especially in rural markets. Additionally, Nestlé reported a 50% increase in advertising spending, contributing to a 23.1% rise in domestic sales. The company's shares rose 7.27% to ₹1,379.90 on the National Stock Exchange, and a final dividend of ₹5 per share was recommended for FY26.
