In a tragic incident in Bhor tehsil, Pune district, Maharashtra, a four-year-old girl was allegedly lured, sexually assaulted, and murdered by a 65-year-old man. The police reported that the accused enticed the child with food and took her to a shed, where the crime occurred. The girl was reported missing, prompting her relatives to search for her. During the search, CCTV footage emerged showing the accused with the girl, leading to his arrest. Following the incident, hundreds of villagers gathered at a police station and on the highway, demanding justice and strict action against the perpetrator. Pune Rural Superintendent of Police Sandipsingh Gill assured the public that the case would be expedited and the accused booked under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act and other relevant laws. Investigations are ongoing.
