Huawei has launched its latest smartwatch series, the Watch Fit 5 and Watch Fit 5 Pro, during a recent event that also introduced other devices like the Pura X Max foldable phone. The Watch Fit 5 Pro boasts a 1.92-inch AMOLED touchscreen with 3,000 nits peak brightness, while the standard model features a 1.82-inch AMOLED display with 2,500 nits. Both models support Always-On Display and include a digital crown and a shortcut button. The Pro variant is equipped with advanced health monitoring features, including ECG and depth sensing, while both watches have updated optical heart rate modules and temperature sensors. They also offer dual-band GNSS positioning and are rated for water resistance up to 5 ATM, with the Pro model certified for freediving up to 40 meters. Battery life is impressive, lasting a week with normal use or up to 10 days with lighter usage. The Watch Fit 5 is priced at CNY 1,099 (approximately $161), while the Watch Fit 5 Pro starts at CNY 2,199 (around $322). Both models will be available for purchase in China starting April 29.
