The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) will conduct the Common Entrance Test (CET) for 2026 on April 23 and 24. This year, each of the 745 exam centers will have a designated dress code officer to prevent confusion regarding attire. On April 23, students will take the physics and chemistry tests, while mathematics and biology tests will occur on April 24. To enhance security and prevent malpractice, CCTV surveillance will be implemented, and all centers will be monitored via webcasting. In Bengaluru, approximately 77,604 candidates are expected to participate across 163 centers. Additionally, a central command center will be established at the KEA office. Special provisions will be made for 970 differently abled candidates, who are advised to report two hours early for verification. Students are encouraged to wear half-sleeve clothing without collars, and certain items, including cellphones and electronic devices, are strictly prohibited. The CET will also consider marks from the second exam for students who wish to improve their scores.
