Former Indian spinner R Ashwin addressed the situation, stating that such incidents are avoidable, especially for young players. He advised Parag to keep personal choices private, noting that as a captain and leader, he serves as an inspiration to many young cricketers and should act responsibly. Ashwin expressed empathy for Parag but insisted that accountability is crucial for learning and growth. He concluded that while personal choices are valid, they should not be made in public spaces to avoid negative consequences.
