On Saturday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will launch the 19th edition of the Rozgar Mela, distributing over 51,000 appointment letters to newly recruited youth across various Union Ministries and public sector organizations. This initiative reflects the Prime Minister's commitment to employment generation, aiming to provide job opportunities for young individuals aged 18 to 35. The event will be held at 47 locations across India, with candidates selected from diverse backgrounds and educational qualifications, including those who have completed 8th, 10th, and 12th grades, as well as ITI, Diploma, and Graduate degrees. Since its inception, the Rozgar Mela has successfully issued around 12 lakh (1.2 million) recruitment letters through 18 previous events. Job seekers are mobilized through various outreach methods, including print advertisements, bulk SMS, and social media, as well as workshops at colleges and universities to ensure broad participation.
