Zen Technologies, a prominent player in India's defense sector, reported a sharp 68.80% decline in net profit for the quarter ending March 2026, totaling ₹31.53 crore compared to ₹101.05 crore in the same quarter of the previous year. This significant drop in profitability coincided with a 45.20% decrease in sales, which fell to ₹178.08 crore from ₹324.97 crore year-on-year. For the full fiscal year, the company’s net profit decreased by 30.97% to ₹193.45 crore, down from ₹280.24 crore in the prior year. Sales for the entire year also faced challenges, declining 29.37% to ₹687.69 crore from ₹973.64 crore. The operating profit margin (OPM) decreased from 42.44% to 27.84%, indicating increased cost pressures and reduced profitability across operations. Analysts attribute these declines to ongoing market challenges and increased competition in the defense sector.
