Since joining in 2021, Gangwar has played a crucial role in scaling the platform to over 250 million users and driving its expansion into international markets, including the US. Under his leadership, Pocket FM aims to build stronger systems and enhance execution across various markets. The company has reported impressive growth, achieving $450 million in annual recurring revenue (ARR) by April 2026, following a rapid increase from $200 million ARR in Q4 FY25. For FY25, Pocket FM's revenue reached ₹1,768 crore (approximately $213 million USD), reflecting a 68% increase year-on-year, with over half of the revenue generated from user payments through microtransactions. The platform continues to innovate with AI-powered storytelling and expand its creator ecosystem, competing with major players like Spotify.
