Hindustan Unilever (HUL), a leading consumer goods company in India, announced a 21.4% increase in its consolidated net profit to ₹2,992 crore for the January-March quarter of FY26. This growth was bolstered by proceeds from its stake sale in Nutritionalab. Excluding exceptional items, the profit after tax (PAT) rose 4% year-on-year to ₹2,711 crore. The company's net sales also saw a significant increase of 7.6%, reaching ₹16,351 crore, marking its best performance in the last 12 quarters. CEO Priya Nair highlighted the company's strategic actions to enhance growth, including portfolio optimization and increased investments. Despite facing challenges from geopolitical tensions and commodity volatility, HUL remains focused on sustaining growth and strengthening its consumer base. The company reported an EBITDA of ₹3,841 crore, with an EBITDA margin of 23.7%. Additionally, HUL proposed a final dividend of ₹22 per share, bringing the total dividend payout for the year to ₹9,633 crore.
