The incident occurred on September 10, 2025, and has led to charges against hospital operator Dr. Rasheed and an unnamed surgeon for medical negligence and criminal conspiracy. The patient's father, Kamal, filed a complaint after noticing discrepancies in the medical records, which were later found to have been tampered with. An inquiry by the Chief Medical Officer's office confirmed that the gall bladder was healthy and that consent for the surgery was improperly documented. Despite the inquiry's findings, the family faced significant delays in having their case registered with the police. The hospital's owner, Dr. Mobin Khan, denied any wrongdoing, claiming the family sought money to remove videos of the incident. As of now, Nadeem remains bedridden with complications while his family continues to seek justice.
