Suzlon Energy has announced a significant repeat order of 195 MW from Sunsure Energy, which elevates its total sales of the 3MW platform to nearly 9 GW. This order reinforces the ongoing collaboration between the two companies, bringing their cumulative partnership to nearly 300 MW across the states of Maharashtra and Karnataka. In Karnataka alone, Suzlon's order book has surpassed 2 GW, marking a critical milestone in one of India's leading wind markets. The project will involve the installation of 65 state-of-the-art S144 wind turbine generators, each rated at 3.0 MW. Suzlon will be responsible for the supply, erection, and commissioning of the turbines, along with comprehensive operations and maintenance services post-commissioning. Currently, Suzlon has an installed capacity of 1,500 MW in Karnataka, which represents 24% of its total capacity in South India. Ajay Kapur, CEO of Suzlon Group, highlighted the company's commitment to quality and execution, making it a reliable partner for significant projects. The project will be executed in the Bijapur district of Karnataka, further solidifying Suzlon's presence in the region.
