Sandeep Gupta, a tax consultant from Malviya Nagar in Jaipur, India, has dedicated over two decades to using his SUV as an improvised ambulance, helping more than 120 accident victims reach hospitals. His commitment was sparked by a tragic incident 22 years ago when he witnessed a critically injured individual die while waiting for an ambulance. Since then, Gupta has made it his mission to ensure that no one has to wait for emergency services. His SUV is equipped with essential first-aid supplies, sheets, and emergency signage, and he even has a siren for urgent situations. Gupta's efforts have been acknowledged by former Indian President Pratibha Patil and various organizations, and he has received support from local traffic police, who facilitated his work by ensuring he has the right of way during emergencies. Survivors like Mridul Gautam and Yogita Sharma credit Gupta with saving their lives through his timely interventions.
