Samsung has officially launched the stable One UI 8.5 update for its Galaxy devices worldwide, following a successful pilot run in South Korea. This update is available for the Galaxy S24 and S23 series, including the Fan Edition models, as well as the Galaxy Z Flip7, Z Fold7, Z Flip6, Z Fold6, and Galaxy Tab S10 and S11 series. While some Galaxy A series models will also receive One UI 8.5, their rollout may take longer. One UI 8.5 introduces several enhancements, including a minor UI design refresh and significant improvements in Galaxy AI, which features more powerful tools for image editing and generation. Additionally, the update enhances Bixby, integrates deeper with Perplexity AI, and introduces new camera features such as document scanning, real-time video previews, and dual video recording that allows users to capture footage using both the selfie and rear cameras simultaneously. Other improvements include updates to Samsung Health, Quick Share, connectivity features, and better power-saving options.
