A tragic shooting incident occurred on the evening of May 19, 2023, in Canley Heights, a suburb in Sydney, Australia, leading to the death of one man and serious injuries to four others. Emergency services were alerted around 8:30 PM when two men, aged 28 and 32, arrived at Liverpool Hospital with multiple gunshot wounds. Despite medical efforts, the 28-year-old was pronounced dead shortly after arrival. The 32-year-old remains hospitalized in serious but stable condition due to a neck injury. Shortly after, two additional victims, aged 23 and 22, sought treatment at Fairfield Hospital for serious injuries, with the 23-year-old suffering a gunshot wound to the neck and the 22-year-old having a shoulder injury. Both were later transferred to separate facilities for further care. A 19-year-old man also arrived at Liverpool Hospital with arm injuries and is reported to be stable.
