Sergei Krajev, a 64-year-old bus driver for Transport for London (TfL), tragically passed away following an assault on Battersea Bridge in south London. The incident occurred around 00:30 BST on Monday, and Krajev was airlifted to the hospital but succumbed to his injuries on Tuesday. His family expressed their grief, describing him as a 'wonderful husband, father, and grandfather' who was known for his punctuality and dedication in his role. The Metropolitan Police have arrested Gary Jones, 32, who has been charged with grievous bodily harm and is now facing murder charges following Krajev's death. The assault reportedly took place on the pavement outside the stationary bus.
