As of April 17, daily bookings have stabilized between 46-50 lakh. Domestic LPG prices have remained unchanged since a ₹60 increase in March, while commercial LPG prices have surged by ₹344 this year, with two hikes in March and April. Sujata Sharma, Joint Secretary in the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas, confirmed that deliveries are normal, with about 50 lakh refill cylinders delivered on April 16. The government is also promoting piped natural gas (PNG) connections to reduce reliance on LPG, with a focus on households and transport sectors.
