On May 22, 2023, at Patriot Park in the Moscow Region, Russia's Kalashnikov Group unveiled the Kub-10ME guided munition, which has a range of over 100 kilometers. Alan Lushnikov, the CEO of the Kalashnikov Group, highlighted that the munition was developed in response to the needs observed during the ongoing special military operation. The Kub-10ME incorporates cutting-edge technology, including an optoelectronic guidance system that allows it to effectively engage moving targets. Furthermore, it has been designed with improved defenses against electronic warfare and air defense systems. The munition is equipped with an aerial photography and video recording system for on-board data capture. It can operate in various modes—manual, semi-automatic, and automatic—making it versatile for different combat scenarios. The Kub-10ME can fly at altitudes ranging from 80 to 1,800 meters and is capable of cruising at speeds of 120 km/h. It is designed to function under diverse weather conditions, including gusty winds up to 10 m/s, and can operate in temperatures from -30°C to +40°C.
