Following the UDF's electoral victory, key Congress figures, including VD Satheesan, have arrived in Delhi for discussions with the All India Congress Committee (AICC) regarding the leadership decision. The AICC observer Mukul Wasnik stated that all party MLAs have authorized the high command to select the leader of the Congress Legislative Party (CLP).
