Maersk Global Service Centres, part of the global logistics giant Maersk, has leased 193,485 square feet of office space in Kharadi, Pune, for a monthly rent of ₹1.45 crore (approximately $174,000 USD). The lease, signed with Eon Kharadi Infrastructure Private Limited, is for a 10-year term and includes a 15% rental increase every three years. The agreement specifies that rent for the ground to third floors will commence from December 2026, while the fourth and fifth floors will begin from June 2027, allowing for a phased occupation. A spokesperson from Maersk clarified that this move is a relocation from their current office in Viman Nagar, Pune, aimed at optimizing their workspace rather than expanding operations. In the first quarter of 2026, Pune's office market saw a 17% decline in transactions year-on-year, with new completions down 72% YoY, according to Knight Frank India.
