Aamir Khan Productions has taken a unique approach by opening advance bookings for the film 'Ek Din', which is set to release on May 1, 2026. The film features Junaid Khan and Sai Pallavi, with the latter making her Hindi film debut. Advance ticket sales began 39 days prior to the release, surprising fans and industry observers. As reported, tickets are now available in nearly 20 cities across India, with Delhi-NCR leading the way with bookings in 24 screens, followed by 11 screens in Mumbai. Smaller cities like Raipur and Gorakhpur have also recorded early sales, with over 520 tickets sold nationwide. Aamir Khan has expressed his enthusiasm for the film, describing it as a classic romantic story that he personally enjoys. The film is directed by Sunil Pandey and produced by Aamir Khan, Mansoor Khan, and Aparna Purohit.
