Chief Minister Rekha Gupta announced this plan, which aims to tackle pollution from various sources, including vehicular emissions, road dust, and industrial discharge. The initiative includes a 'No PUC, No Fuel' policy, enforced through Automatic Number Plate Recognition (ANPR) cameras and digital tracking systems. Additionally, the government plans to expand public transport, increasing the bus fleet to 13,760 by 2028-29, with a focus on electric buses. The plan also includes the establishment of 32,000 EV charging points over the next four years and stricter monitoring of construction and industrial emissions.
