In the Assam HSLC Examination 2026, Jyotirmay Das, a student from Sankardev Sishu Niketan in Patacharkuchi, achieved the top rank, marking a significant achievement for the Vidya Bharati educational network. Vidya Bharati schools, operating through the Shishu Shiksha Samiti in Assam, reported that 10,375 students from 403 schools participated in the examination. Among these, 164 schools achieved 100% results, with 17 schools having all students pass in the First Division. The results included 5,623 students in First Division, 3,546 in Second Division, and 516 in Third Division, along with 1,333 students receiving letter marks and 383 achieving distinction. Vidya Bharati's commitment to value-based education and the effective implementation of the National Education Policy (NEP) has been pivotal in their success. Senior officials of Vidya Bharati expressed pride in the students' achievements and highlighted the organization’s role in promoting Assam's rich culture and language.
