Newly appointed deputy leader Ashok Mittal characterized the reshuffle as a routine process, asserting that there were no specific reasons behind it and that all members, including Chadha, would continue to have opportunities to speak in the House. Chadha's recent silence during key events, including the discharge of party leaders in a money laundering case and his absence from significant party gatherings, has fueled speculation about his standing within the party. Once a close ally of AAP's national convener Arvind Kejriwal, Chadha's influence appears to be waning as he has been increasingly excluded from organizational matters, despite his ongoing advocacy for public issues such as high airfares and the conditions of gig workers.
