Abhishek Chauhan, hailing from Hajipur in Vaishali district, Bihar, has made headlines by securing All India Rank (AIR) 102 in the UPSC Civil Services Examination (CSE) during his second attempt. Initially working at a multinational company, Abhishek decided to pursue a career in civil services to make a direct impact on society. He prepared for the exam using books and online resources, with a focus on Zoology as his optional subject. His academic journey includes graduating from an Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) after clearing the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE). While preparing, he faced challenges, including difficulties with food while staying in Bengaluru, but returned home to continue his studies in Hajipur. His parents provided unwavering support throughout his preparation, emphasizing the importance of focus and consistency.
