In a stunning IPL debut for Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH), 24-year-old Praful Hinge opened the bowling against the Rajasthan Royals and achieved a remarkable feat by taking three wickets in his very first over. This achievement makes him the first bowler in IPL history to secure three wickets in the opening over of an innings. Hinge's victims included the in-form Vaibhav Sooryavanshi, Dhruv Jurel, and Lhuan-dre Pretorius. Prior to this match, Hinge had played only one T20 match and made his first-class debut for Vidarbha in October 2024, where he took 16 wickets in the last Ranji Trophy season. His impressive performance in the inaugural Vidarbha Pro T20 League last year helped elevate his profile as a promising pace bowler.
