Auburn guard Abdul Bashir has officially entered the NCAA Transfer Portal, following a season where he only made six appearances and averaged 2.0 points per game with a shooting percentage of 26.7%. Bashir joined Auburn after a successful tenure at Casper College, where he was recognized as the No. 1 JUCO transfer in the country. During his sophomore year at Casper, he averaged an impressive 27.2 points, alongside 3.8 rebounds and 4.2 assists per game, shooting 41.4% from the field and 36.8% from beyond the arc. His performance included a remarkable 131 three-pointers, the most in NJCAA Division I. The NCAA Transfer Portal, which opened on April 7, allows players like Bashir to seek opportunities at other schools until it closes on April 21.
