The newly elected government of Bangladesh is set to send a 20-member delegation to China from April 16 to 24, 2026. This marks the first outreach to China by the current administration, with the delegation led by Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir, General Secretary of the Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) and Minister of Local Government, Rural Development and Co-operatives.
